Physicians should issue prescriptions in accordance with the relevant provisions of prescription management. When the pharmacist considers the prescription to be inappropriate, he should inform the doctor who prescribes the prescription and ask him or her to confirm or reopen the prescription. If the drug is found to be seriously unreasonable or erroneous, the pharmacist should refuse the deployment and inform the doctor who prescribed the prescription in time.
The regulations also make it clear that the drug use unit should organize personnel who come into contact with the drug to conduct health checks every year. Persons suffering from infectious diseases who engage in direct contact with drugs for violation of regulations shall be fined up to 20,000 yuan if they fail to do so within the prescribed time limit.
