When working on the pump, pay attention to check the pressure, temperature and mechanical shaft seal work. A slight amount of leakage should be allowed for the shaft seal. If the leakage does not exceed 20-30 seconds per drop, it is considered normal. If the screw pump generates noise during operation, it is often caused by too low oil temperature, too high viscosity of the oil, air entering the oil, loss of the coupling, or excessive pump wear.
